National LambdaRail Experiments Support Services (NLR ESS)
The primary goal of the National LambdaRail's Experiments Support Services is to provide end-to-end support to the research community's use of NLR. These services include a wide range of support for NLR-based research objectives, with a primary focus on networking research experiments. Services include:
- Assist research teams in identifying, defining and documenting their intended use of NLR and assuring capability and availability of resources.
- Provide planning and engineering support to help researchers make end-to-end connections between sites, including the use of regional service providers.
- Document input from research communities to develop recommendations for best practices in conducting experiments
- Archive data to share information through outreach programs with national and international research communities with a goal to facilitate collaboration and coordination based on the current and evolving capabilities of the NLR infrastructure.
