National LambdaRail Board of Directors

With an aggressive stance and bylaws which delegate more than 50 percent of the capabilities to network research, NLR is highly accountable to and trusted by the institutions it serves. A board comprised of representatives selected by members provides oversight and guidance.

NLR’s membership is drawn from public and private higher education institutions and information technology industries. NLR represents the common interests of the nation’s higher education academic and research communities in achieving robust, high capacity, experimental communications services.

In May 2003, the NLR was incorporated in the state of Delaware and achieved 501(c)3 status in February 2004.

NLR's Board of Directors is comprised of representatives selected by members and provides oversight and guidance to a compact, agile, and effective core staff.
